Chippewa Eliminated from Playoff Contention Friday, September 12th, 2025 After a tough year, the Chippewa River Chiefs have been the butt of jokes around many water coolers in the Chippewa area. There will be some new fodder for jaded fans to discuss now - the club is officially eliminated from playoff contention. Before this season, the River Chiefs last missed the playoffs in 2021. In the 13 years they have been a SINGLE A franchise, they have missed the playoffs 10 times. In the last 10 years, they have missed the playoffs 7 times. |
