Wednesday, September 10th, 2025
Baseball can be a contact sport at times. It can exact a harsh toll on a player's body. In a recent game against Baltimore Blue Claws, Saints starting pitcher Kichibei Kobayashi was injured throwing a pitch and is expected to miss 7 months with radial nerve compression. The team did not announce any roster moves today related to this injury. The St. Paul skipper told BNN that personnel decisions would be announced as early as tomorrow.
Checking out his stats for the year, Kobayashi has racked up 1 win and 2 losses in 0 starts, 3.67 ERA and struck out 73 batters in 54 innings.
