Ogura Hits in 20 Consecutive Games Sunday, September 7th, 2025 New Orleans could care less about Motoki Ogura's hitting streak. All they care about is who won the game. The Jedi Knights manager told BNN, "Not to belittle his streak, but at the end of the day, the important thing is winning the game, not stopping a hitting streak." Well, the Jedi Knights didn't stop Motoki Ogura today, but they won the game 13-0 over the Blue Claws. The Baltimore catcher was 1-for-4 in the loss and extended his hitting streak to 20 games. Motoki Ogura grounded out in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, flied out in the 6th and struck out in the 8th. For the season, Ogura is hitting at a .243 clip with 7 home runs, 23 RBIs and has scored 23 runs. He has 42 hits, 19 walks and a .318 on-base percentage. |
