August Herrman League Names Magesh Best Batter Monday, September 1st, 2025 It can be difficult for a young player to step out of the shadows and assert himself in the August Herrman League, but last week Anamol Magesh of the Houston Sting reminded everyone just why he's here as he threw up numbers that made him an easy selection for Player of the Week. Magesh rocked opposing pitching for a .400 average (10-for-25), 3 home runs and 9 RBIs to come away with the award. This season Magesh has hit at a .318 clip with 11 RBIs, 3 home runs and 10 runs scored. He has played in 12 games. |
