Guis, Russa Suspended for Fracas Saturday, August 30th, 2025 The league decided to come down hard on Jeremy Guis of the Cyclones and Lourenço Russa of the Blue Claws for their roles in a brawl during a game between Coney Island and Baltimore at Coney Island Coliseum. Both combatants will receive 5-game suspensions because of their confrontation. So far this season Guis has hit .273 with 5 home runs, 39 RBIs and and scored 44 times. So far in 28 appearances this season, Russa has recorded 2 wins and sustained 7 losses. He has pitched 74.2 innings, yielded 88 hits, fanned 55 and has a 7.35 ERA. |
