Star of the Week Honored in BOL Monday, August 25th, 2025 It was an extraordinary week for Fernando González of the Barrow Frosties. First he goes on a hot hitting streak, batting .667, then he is voted the Player of the Week in the Buck O'Neil League. Last week González went 8-for-12, racked up 3 home runs and 6 RBIs and scored 5 runs. It was a heck of a week for the Barrow third baseman. This season González is batting .311 with 85 hits and 8 home runs. He has scored 43 times and has 36 runs batted in. |
