Trevino Gets 4-Game Suspension Wednesday, August 20th, 2025 The league office has taken action against Beach City center fielder Roberto Trevino for inappropriate action and aggressive conduct in the Seals game against the Whitewater Eagles. He has been issued a 4-game suspension. Trevino was ejected from the game yesterday after arguing a called third strike. He first argued with the plate umpire. Then Trevino moved up the first-base line, waving his fists at the umpire as the dispute continued. As he left the field, he also argued with the crew chief, who was umpiring at third base. His manager finally convinced him to leave the field as the umpires were threatening to forfeit the game. This year Trevino is hitting .223 with 9 home runs and 62 RBIs to his credit. He has gotten on base at a .346 clip and scored 74 runs. |
