San Angelo Mathematically Eliminated from Playoffs Saturday, August 16th, 2025 When you're as atrocious as the San Angelo Mustangs have been this season, it's no surprise when you are mathematically eliminated this early in the season. That's the reality today for San Angelo. San Angelo last appeared in the postseason in 2017. This is their 8th consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 12 times in their 13-year history.
