J.R. Adams Out of Action Wednesday, August 13th, 2025 Kingwood reliever J.R. Adams left today's game with a stretched elbow ligament. The injury looked like it occurred throwing a pitch in the game against Chippewa. One fan said, "As soon as it happened, you could tell something was wrong." The injury will likely leave the Knights without Adams for about 11 months. This season Adams has chalked up no saves, notched a 3-0 record with a 0.66 ERA, allowed 9 hits in his 13.2 innings of work, struck out 22 and walked 1. Opponents are hitting .188 against the Kingwood hurler. |
