Chippewa's Hall Goes Ballistic with 5 Hits Sunday, August 10th, 2025 It seemed that Chippewa right fielder Michael Hall could do no wrong as the River Chiefs kayoed the Mustangs 11-3 today as he rapped out 5 hits in 5 at-bats. San Angelo pitchers couldn't get him out as Hall seemed to know which pitches they were throwing. "I think the River Chiefs were stealing signs," growled one unhappy San Angelo fan. "I just felt good today. I saw the ball well and just wanted to make good contact and put the ball in play," said the jubilant Hall in the postgame press interview. Michael Hall doubled in the 1st, hit a three-run home run off Shigeki Sasaki in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 6th and hit a three-run double in the 7th. Hall's current batting average stands at .262 and he has chalked up 11 home runs and 46 RBIs. |
