Jorge Rodríguez was hurt throwing a pitch in their game against the Cherry Hill Stealers and has ulnar nerve irritation. Team trainers were hesitant to predict a date for return but said it was likely the injury will keep the starting pitcher out at least 4 months. On his stats sheet for the year Rodríguez shows a 10-4 record, 9 starts, 97.2 innings, 133 strikeouts and a 2.95 ERA. |
