Nobuhiko Miyashita out of Lineup 6 Months Friday, August 1st, 2025 Dealing with injuries is part of the game, and now Nobuhiko Miyashita of the Jedi Knights knows this firsthand. He was injured against the Beach City Seals while throwing a pitch. Because of shoulder inflammation, the New Orleans reliever is expected to miss 6 months. Miyashita was a little upset, but understands it comes with the territory. "Baseball can be a contact sport. You try to be careful, but no matter how careful you are, injuries happen." So far this season, Miyashita has a 2-1 won-lost record with 2 saves. He has made 15 relief appearances, logged 27 innings and fanned 35 batters while fashioning a 2.67 ERA and allowing the opposition a .196 batting average. |
