Chippewa's Markle to Miss 12 Months Sunday, July 27th, 2025 Chippewa starting pitcher Eric Markle left today's game with a damaged elbow ligament. The injury looked like it occurred throwing a pitch in the game against Winfield. One fan said, "As soon as it happened, you could tell something was wrong." The injury will likely leave the River Chiefs without Markle for about 12 months. For the year Markle has compiled a 9-3 record with a 3.02 ERA. |
