BOL Announces Player of the Week Monday, July 21st, 2025 21-year-old Shaun Sharp made a few New Orleans headlines during this past week as the rookie left fielder proved he could compete at the plate with his high-school idols. He captured the attention of fans, journalists and Buck O'Neil League officials last week and today took home Player of the Week honors for his effort. He cracked 6 hits in 13 at-bats to put up a .462 average. Sharp collected 2 home runs, 6 RBIs and scored 6 runs. Sharp is hitting .296 this season with 5 home runs, 49 RBIs and 62 runs scored. He has 97 hits in 328 at-bats. |
