Hipsters Orlando Hernández Wins AHL Award Monday, July 21st, 2025 A battle-tested Orlando Hernández declared war on opposing pitchers last week, attacking the ball like the well-schooled veteran he is. Today the 34-year-old Austin catcher collected the August Herrman League Player of the Week Award. He wrapped up the week with a .429 average, 6 hits in 14 at-bats, 3 home runs, 6 RBIs and 6 runs scored. In the 2025 season Hernández is hitting .339 with 5 home runs. |
