Today the 34-year-old Coney Island catcher collected the Buck O'Neil League Player of the Week Award. He wrapped up the week with a .667 average, 12 hits in 18 at-bats, 3 home runs, 10 RBIs and 4 runs scored. Currently Vickerson is batting .305 with 39 hits and 6 home runs.
