League Suspends Hollinshed and Evans for Fisticuffs Tuesday, July 8th, 2025 Tempers were flaring yesterday at Hipster Grounds. Both the Hipsters and Princes were defending their turf. A few punches were thrown, but fortunately very few landed -- there was more wrestling than fighting. When the umpires sorted everything out, Austin's Connor Hollinshed and Bel Air's Vic Evans were ejected from the game. Today the league office suspended Hollinshed and Evans for 2 games each. So far this year, Hollinshed is batting .257 with 2 home runs and 8 RBIs. For the season Evans has 2 saves, tossed 45.1 innings, fanned 59 batters and produced an ERA of 2.78. He has also been credited with 4 wins and 2 losses. |
