Blue Spaders Darby Caples Wins AHL Award Monday, July 7th, 2025 It was announced today that Kansas City first baseman Darby Caples was selected the August Herrman League Player of the Week Award for his superb play last week. During the week he compiled a .407 batting average (11-for-27) with 2 home runs, 12 RBI and scored 5 runs. Caples is presently hitting at a .353 pace with 2 home runs and 15 RBIs. He has played in 13 games and scored 7 times. |
