Kantaro Kichida Will Miss 4-5 Months Sunday, June 15th, 2025 Dealing with injuries is part of the game, and now Kantaro Kichida of the Hipsters knows this firsthand. He was injured against the Brisbane Bush Wackers while throwing a pitch. Because of shoulder inflammation, the Austin reliever is expected to miss 4-5 months. Kichida was a little upset, but understands it comes with the territory. "Baseball can be a contact sport. You try to be careful, but no matter how careful you are, injuries happen." For the season Kichida has made 3 relief appearances, recorded no saves, compiled a 0-2 won-lost mark and a 6.43 ERA. In pitching 7 innings, he has totaled 6 strikeouts and 3 walks. |
