AHL's Best Batter Selected Sunday, June 1st, 2025 Doug Mullins made his presence known as one of the best young stars in the August Herrman League this past month. The Bethesda Hornets first baseman shone through the month of May and has won the Batter of the Month award. The 22-year-old hit .311 with 6 home runs, 21 RBIs and 20 runs scored. This season Mullins has delivered 61 hits in 194 at-bats for a .314 average with 10 home runs. He is getting on base at a .416 clip and his totals also include 35 RBIs and 36 runs scored. This year Mullins has played in 49 games. |
