Ugly Incident Ends in 3-Game Suspension Thursday, May 15th, 2025 It was both entertaining and embarrassing to see. Coney Island center fielder Sebastian Lester really got rowdy at Saints Ballpark yesterday in a game against the St. Paul Saints. It all started with a called third strike and ended up with Lester being ejected from the game. In between he screamed at several umpires, kicked dirt on them and made several obscene gestures. All of this is frowned upon by the league office. Today they suspended Lester for 3 games. He could not be reached today for comment. This season Lester has hit at a .264 clip with 8 RBIs, 1 home runs and 20 runs scored. |
