BOL Player of the Week Goes to Schmidt of Kingwood Monday, May 12th, 2025 Melis Schmidt stepped up to the plate in a big way last week and today he took home the Buck O'Neil League Player of the Week honors. The Kingwood left fielder ripped opposing pitchers for 12 hits in 22 at-bats and 1 home run. He put together a sizzling .545 batting average as he knocked in 6 runs and scored 9 times. In the 2025 season Schmidt is hitting .388 with 4 home runs. |
