Whitewater-Cherry Hill Fight Results in Suspensions Wednesday, May 7th, 2025 There were a few hotheads at the Whitewater-Cherry Hill game at The Aerie yesterday, but the cooler heads prevailed and kept fisticuffs to a minimum. It all started when Harry Stevens of the Eagles and Jim Unknown of the Stealers apparently exchanged some verbal unpleasantries and rushed at one another and began wrestling on the ground. Both benches emptied, but didn't get involved other than a little shoving. Order was quickly restored, the two instigators were ejected by the umpires and the game continued. The league office took quick action and today announced that both players would be suspended 2 games for inappropriate on-field behavior. Stevens has collected 19 hits for the Eagles this year, 1 of them home runs. He has also netted 4 RBIs and scored 9 runs while batting .211. |
