Sandoval Batters San Angelo for 5 Hits Wednesday, April 23rd, 2025 "Believe it or not," said Chippewa left fielder Víctor Sandoval, "they threw me some good pitches today." That would be hard to believe for anyone who saw him dispose of the Mustangs with a great 5-hit performance. "He made it look easy," said the San Angelo manager, who saw his team fall to the Chippewa River Chiefs, 14-0. "Hats off to him!" Víctor Sandoval singled in the 1st, hit an RBI double in the 2nd, grounded out in the 3rd, singled in the 6th, hit a two-run double in the 7th and singled in the 9th. So far this season Sandoval is hitting .345 with 1 home run. |
