Sukarto Goes Hitless, Streak Stopped at 28 Thursday, April 10th, 2025 The Bel Air Princes defeated the Whitewater Eagles 5-4 today at Philip Banks Field, but Setia Sukarto's 28-game hitting string was snapped and went to the wayside. Sukarto went hitless in 4 at-bats. "I enjoyed the streak," the right fielder said in a BNN interview after the game. "It's great in one way, but the day-to-day pressure to keep it going can be tough to handle, too. The main thing is we got the 'W' today. That's all that really counts." |
