#1 Player Named by August Herrman League Friday, November 1st, 2024 At the age of 22, Marshall Dempsey of the Westside Road Warriors could very well have his best years ahead of him. It's a startling thought when you consider the year he had in 2024 was good enough to win the first baseman the August Herrman League Silver Slugger Award. "See the ball, hit the ball," he said. He played 158 games and racked up 200 hits, 35 doubles, 2 triples, 43 home runs, 140 RBIs and 131 runs scored.
