Dempsey Hits for the Cycle Monday, September 23rd, 2024 Road Warriors first baseman Marshall Dempsey had one of the best days of his career today when he hit for the cycle and paved the way for the Westside 13-4 win over the Austin Hipsters at Road Warriors Field. He shelled them for 4 hits in 5 at-bats, collected 2 runs batted in and scored 3 runs. Marshall Dempsey doubled in the 1st, struck out in the 2nd, hit a two-run home run off Emory MacNamara in the 4th, singled in the 6th and tripled in the 7th. So far this year in 153 games Dempsey is hitting .321 with 40 home runs, 137 RBIs and 124 runs scored. |
