St. Paul's Pepe Amiera Injured Tuesday, September 3rd, 2024 The Saints will be minus Pepe Amiera for about 7 months after the reliever suffered a ruptured disc while throwing a pitch in a recent game against Victoria. Amiera and the St. Paul skipper were hoping further examination might show there was less damage than originally thought and he would be absent a shorter duration. Amiera has pitched 94.1 innings and molded a 3.63 ERA with 2 saves. He has surrendered 82 hits while registering 107 strikeouts on his way to a 7-3 record for the Saints this year. |
