Westside Cruises to August Herrman League Mr. Met Division Crown Monday, September 2nd, 2024 The champagne was flowing in the Westside Road Warriors clubhouse today, as men quickly transformed into boys with the realization that the club had clinched the August Herrman League Mr. Met Division. "We can relax a bit, for now anyway," said manager Brad Anderson. "I'm proud of every guy in the room for what we've done this season." The club has a 108-28 record as they head towards the playoffs in search of their 2nd Single A World Series championship. Starting Pitcher Mike Hutcherson said the team is happy to clinch what is the club's 5th division title, but "wouldn't be happy until we're lifting that trophy." |
