August's Pitcher of the Month Goes to Castellanos Sunday, September 1st, 2024 Juliano Castellanos hasn't been around the big leagues long enough to know that youngsters shouldn't be winning August Herrman League Pitcher of the Month. But when you put up numbers like his, you're going to get some notice. In August the Westside starter earned a 5-0 mark in 6 starts. He threw 40.1 innings, struck out 42 and compiled a solid 1.56 ERA. In 27 starts this season Castellanos has recorded a 15-2 record and a 2.58 ERA. |
