Dempsey Earns July's Top Batter Prize in AHL Thursday, August 1st, 2024 It's perhaps an award he'll win many more times through his career, as at age 21, Marshall Dempsey has a lot of baseball ahead of him. But for now the young Westside Road Warriors star can enjoy the numbers he put upin July, which have garnered him the nod as the August Herrman League Batter of the Month. His breakout month featured a .376 average with 7 home runs, 31 RBIs and 21 runs scored. This season in 105 games, Dempsey has hit at a .311 clip with 127 hits, 27 home runs, 100 RBIs and 79 runs scored. |
