Bad Boy Brawlers Suspended 2 Games Wednesday, July 24th, 2024 Eugene and St. Paul were informed today by the league's commissioner that two of their players have been given 2-game suspensions, citing their "inappropriate actions" in the recent altercation in a game played at Prefontaine Park. For their parts in the bench-clearing episode, the Emeralds Javier Bercovici and the Saints Felipe Pérez will be sitting on the sidelines and will not be permitted to participate in games until the suspensions are served. So far this season Bercovici is hitting .193 with 1 home run. This year Pérez has a 5-5 record and a 4.30 ERA. |
