League Suspends Taniguchi and Till for Fisticuffs

A bench-clearing brawl marred the Bel Air-Westside game at Philip Banks Field yesterday and resulted in two players being suspended today by the league office. The Princes Tokuhei Taniguchi and the Road Warriors Jay Till were ejected from the game for fighting. Both players will have to sit out 2 games.
In the current season, Taniguchi has put up a .227 batting average with 41 hits, 3 home runs, 17 RBI and scored 28 runs.
Till has gone to the hill for 8 relief appearances this season, nailing down 1 save while notching a 0-0 record with a 3.72 ERA. The Westside reliever has limited opposing batters to a .225 batting average.
