BOL Star of the Week Honored Monday, July 15th, 2024 It was a fantastic week for New Orleans right fielder Masamichi Sasaki and it was capped off today with the announcement that he was named the winner of the Buck O'Neil League Player of the Week Award. Last week Sasaki hammered the ball at a torrid .533 pace, going 8-for-15 with 2 home runs, 3 RBIs and 4 runs scored. This season Sasaki is batting .307 with 98 hits and 20 home runs. He has scored 58 times and has 59 RBI. |
