Baltimore SP Fukumoto Will Miss 5 Months Sunday, July 7th, 2024 Nobuatsu Fukumoto expressed his disappointment when he learned that bone chips in his elbow would sideline him for 5 months. "I'll just spend a lot of time in the training room and hopefully speed up the healing process. Nobody likes to be out of the line-up," explained Fukumoto. The starting pitcher got hurt in today's game with the Coney Island Cyclones. He was hurt throwing a pitch. Team officials had no comment on his roster replacement.
