Hsueh 5-for-6 Against Stealers Thursday, June 13th, 2024 Mo-ruo Hsueh told the press after his 5-hit day, "Every batter wants to have a quality at-bat every time he steps up to the plate. He wants to hit the ball hard." Well, that's just what Hsueh of the Houston Sting did against the Cherry Hill Stealers. He went to the plate 6 times and 5 times he delivered base hits, much to the chagrin of the Stealers, who suffered a 16-12 defeat. "Not much that I can say," offered the losing manager, "he just hammered the heck out of us." Mo-ruo Hsueh singled in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, hit a GRAND SLAM off Cipriano Tirado in the 5th, singled in the 7th, grounded out in the 10th and walked in the 12th. For the season Hsueh has produced 91 hits in 279 at-bats for a .326 average with 2 home runs and gotten on base at a .374 clip. |
