May's AHL Top Pitcher is Road Warriors Castellanos Saturday, June 1st, 2024 Juliano Castellanos took a much-deserved turn in the spotlight earlier today as he accepted the August Herrman League Pitcher of the Month award for May. The 24-year-old Road Warriors starter is a relative newcomer to the league, but nonetheless racked up an impressive 4-0 won-lost record in 6 starts. This month he fanned 50 batters in 35 innings and compiled a 1.54 ERA. To date this year Castellanos has compiled a 8-0 mark with a 2.34 ERA in 11 starts. |
