Eugene's van de Ven Goes Ballistic with 5 Hits Friday, May 31st, 2024 Eugene center fielder Reuben van de Ven really sparkled with the bat today against the Eagles. He led the Emeralds to a 5-3 win over Whitewater by going 5-for-5. Reuben van de Ven doubled in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off José Vargas in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, singled in the 7th and singled in the 8th. So far in 2024 van de Ven is batting .306 with 1 home run, 10 RBIs and 17 runs scored. He has 34 hits in 111 at-bats and a .384 OBP. |
