Saints Lose Yamada for 8-9 Months Saturday, May 25th, 2024 The St. Paul Saints will have to make do without Shintaro Yamada for 8-9 months. He suffered a broken kneecap while running the bases in the game today against the Nichols Gnats. His teammates, understandably, were upset about losing the shortstop. "That's a tough break for him," one of them said. "But this team is resilient. We will just fill in until he gets back." For the year Yamada is hitting .227 with no home runs. His stats include 6 runs batted in and 15 runs scored. |
