Stealers Lose Tokuma Motsuzuki
Sunday, May 19th, 2024
Dealing with injuries is part of the game, and now Tokuma Motsuzuki of the Stealers knows this firsthand. He was injured against the Palm Beach Bums while throwing a pitch. Because of a partially torn ulnar collateral ligament, the Cherry Hill reliever is expected to miss 6-7 months. Motsuzuki was a little upset, but understands it comes with the territory. "Baseball can be a contact sport. You try to be careful, but no matter how careful you are, injuries happen."
Currently Motsuzuki has 11 relief appearances, saving 0. His record is 0-1 with 16 strikeouts in 16.1 innings and a 6.06 ERA.
