Yamamoto Captures AHL Batter of Month Award Wednesday, May 1st, 2024 When Susumu Yamamoto stepped up to the plate in April, he did it with confidence and today he was honored with the August Herrman League Batter of the Month award. The young Bethesda first baseman posted a .415 batting average with 5 home runs, 21 RBIs and scored 16 runs. Yamamoto also worked pitchers for 13 walks to post a .488 on-base percentage. |
