Reese and Clement Suspended 6 Games Friday, April 19th, 2024 There were a few hotheads at the Beach City-Palm Beach game at Silvery Lane Field yesterday, but the cooler heads prevailed and kept fisticuffs to a minimum. It all started when Keith Reese of the Seals and Yale Clement of the Bums apparently exchanged some verbal unpleasantries and rushed at one another and began wrestling on the ground. Both benches emptied, but didn't get involved other than a little shoving. Order was quickly restored, the two instigators were ejected by the umpires and the game continued. The league office took quick action and today announced that both players would be suspended 6 games for inappropriate on-field behavior. On the year Reese is hitting .232 with 13 hits, no home runs, 6 RBIs, .338 OBP and has scored 4 runs. |
