AHL Starter of the Month Goes to Samurakami Sunday, October 1st, 2023 Over the past month Hidetoshi Samurakami has turned quite a few heads. He's young, talented and able to pitch with the established arms in the August Herrman League. He proved all that and now he's been named September's Pitcher of the Month. The rookie for the Albuquerque Human Beings posted 4-0 mark and a 1.75 ERA. In 5 starts he tossed 36 innings, permitted 27 hits and fanned 29 batters. So far this season Samurakami has 4 wins and 1 loss and a 2.70 ERA. |
