Barrow Reliever Out Monday, September 18th, 2023 It took the Barrow team doctor a while to realize it, but reliever Fahad Munir won't simply play through a damaged elbow ligament after he got hurt throwing a pitch in today's Blue Claws-Frosties game. At first, it looked like Munir might be back as early as tomorrow, but now the prognosis isn't quite so good; he's expected to miss at least 13 months. This year Munir has earned no saves, worked 62.1 innings, fanned 48 hitters and recorded a 4.62 ERA. He has also put up a 0-3 won-lost mark. |
