Jedi Knights Vij Vedavyasa Wins BOL Award Monday, September 11th, 2023 It can be difficult for a young player to step out of the shadows and assert himself in the Buck O'Neil League, but last week Vij Vedavyasa of the New Orleans Jedi Knights reminded everyone just why he's here as he threw up numbers that made him an easy selection for Player of the Week. Vedavyasa rocked opposing pitching for a .462 average (12-26), 4 home runs and 13 RBIs to come away with the award. So far this year, Vedavyasa is batting .318 with 35 home runs and 127 RBIs. |
