Vedavyasa Takes BOL's Best Bat Award Friday, September 1st, 2023 Vij Vedavyasa has a lot going for him. The New Orleans left fielder just broke into the majors this year and now the Buck O'Neil League has just picked him as its top hitter for August. In 27 games last month, this outstanding rookie batted .352 with 10 home runs, 30 RBIs and 26 runs scored.
