Winfield MR Yodo Takaki Injured Friday, August 4th, 2023 The Winfield Warriors learned that Yodo Takaki is likely to be out for 5 months after he injured himself throwing a pitch in today's game against the Kingwood Knights. A round of tests by the team doctor revealed the injury to be a torn back muscle. Upon hearing the diagnosis, the Winfield manager told the press, "As you all know, we can't control injuries -- they are a part of the game. We just have to do the best we can until Yodo is back in action." For the year, Takaki has collected 1 save in 21 relief appearances. He has also rung up 38 strikeouts and 29 walks in 27 innings while registering a 6.67 ERA and a 1-0 won-lost mark. |
