Masaharu Higashi Hurt, Out 9 Months Wednesday, June 14th, 2023 The Chippewa River Chiefs were informed today by team doctors that starting pitcher Masaharu Higashi sustained a torn labrum in a recent game against the Kingwood Knights and will not play for 9 months. Higashi was hurt throwing a pitch. In 14 starts this season Higashi has fashioned a 6-2 record and a 3.69 ERA. |
