Tanaka Slaps 5 Hits Wednesday, May 24th, 2023 Tsuneari Tanaka had an answer for everything the Kingwood Knights threw him today in the San Angelo 4-3 triumph at Stable Park. He made good contact 5 times and 5 times he drilled the ball for a base hit. The San Angelo first baseman went 5 for 5 in the game to put his name in the record book. Summing up his batting philosophy to BNN writers after the game, Tanaka said, "I just see the ball and I hit it." Tsuneari Tanaka hit a two-run home run off Bowo Kartodirdjo in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, singled in the 7th and doubled in the 9th.
