Alvarado, Ong Receive 6-Game Suspensions Tuesday, May 23rd, 2023 Beach City's Jorge Alvarado and Cherry Hill's Mun-cheol Ong have been handed 6-game suspensions for their parts in yesterday's upheaval at Silvery Lane Field. The teams were notified today that the suspensions would go into effect immediately. According to the league commissioner Alvarado and Ong provoked and incited the brawl and bore the blame for what transpired. This year Alvarado has 4 home runs and a .221 batting average. This year Ong has compiled a 2-4 record with a 3.74 ERA in 9 starts. |
